Opportunity and Responsibilities
As a result of their continued growth, this business are now able to offer an exceptional challenge to an approachable and forward thinking Accounts Payable Supervisor who really wants to make a difference and be a part of something special.

With the added value of the highly experienced Accounts Payable Manager as a mentor this would be a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Accounts Payable Clerk or Supervisor to broaden and develop their skills in a friendly and supportive environment.

The Duties:
  • Managing a sub team consisting of 4 Accounts Payable Clerks
  • Building relationships with own portfolio of suppliers, reconciling accounts and statements
  • Processing high volumes of purchase invoices and documents within a fast pace environment
  • Handling legal and stop notices to ensure minimal impact on the business
  • Dealing with supplier queries and escalated disputes and complex queries efficiently
Skills and Experience Required
Managers within this business lead by example, demonstrating strong work ethic and excellent communication skills. In Accounts Payable you will enjoy a high level of interaction with all functions of the business and as the main point of contact for disputes, escalations and the management for the team, strong problem solving skills are essential.

The department is fast paced and attention to detail is required to ensure high volumes of transactions and processed quickly and accurately and that targets and deadlines are met by the team.

Although previous Supervisory experience isn't essential, you will be able to demonstrate a responsible role and will have the desire to take advantage of the support available to develop your team leading skills to the best they can be.
