Becoming a Finance Assistant with Employee Benefits:

A brilliant opportunity has become available for a Finance Assistant to cover Maternity Leave for 30 hours per week. The purpose of this role is to facilitate the accounting processes for Capita Employee Benefits and will be based at our bright and modern Lingfield Point office.

This is an initial 9 month fixed-term Maternity Cover contract offered on a part-time basis working 4 days out of 5.

What you will do:

Prepare monthly P&L statements and income schedules for various cost centres within the Pensions Software and Tracing areas
Generate and distribute invoices to clients upon request and as per sales requisitions
Monitor debtor balances and respond to any associated queries
Prepare monthly financial park information for review by the Management Accountant
Process, raise invoices, and chase debt to facilitate access to barred list
Complete payroll reconciliation reports for review by the Management AccountantYour experience will include:

Previous financial experience working on accounting systems or packages
Strong attention to detail and timemanagement
Good written and verbal communication skills
Good IT skills including Microsoft Excel
GCSE English and Maths or equivalent
