The Company
Our company supports a new brand for car insurance. We expect to be managing over 50,000 policy-holders within two years of trading. Then the sky's the limit! We consider ourselves a service centre, where we are all responsible for delivering and continually improving the customer experience in support of a primarily online car insurance offering.
The Position
You will deliver planned performance and service standards to ensure customers are provided with an excellent customer experience in addition to being innovative and proactive when dealing with all aspects of customer & third-party claims.

You will live and maintain the culture, values and ethics of the business, thereby ensuring that you provide a compliant, high quality and cost-efficient service.

This to be achieved by actively seeking, receiving and acting upon training, coaching and feedback so your individual performance - and the team's performance - meets the needs of the business.

The scope includes responsibility for delivering:
  • Customer communications via live chat, phone and email.
  • Handling accidental damage, fire, theft & vandalism claims from report to settlement.
  • Dealing with all aspects of third party damage claims including those involving credit hire and bodily injury.
  • Actively seeking subrogated recoveries and negotiate liability as the loss circumstances dictate.
  • Identifying potential fraud using knowledge of fraud indicators, SIRA or other available tools and acting in accordance with company stated guidelines to deal with such claims.
  • Complaint handling

Central to your role will be pro-actively identifying and supporting implementation of improvements to the customer experience and operational efficiency of the team, department and the wider business through local and inter-departmental initiatives. Additionally, you should be able to successfully intervene on new third-party claims to control costs.
Your Experience
You will:
  • Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience in working in a motor claims environment
  • Be innately customer service focused and understand how to provide excellent customer service.
  • Be able to interpret data to identify trends to inform action
  • Understand the regulatory environment in which we work
  • 5 GCSE's including English and Maths
  • £20,000 - £26,000 salary (dependent upon experience)
