About the role

This is an exciting role to support our small but ambitious sales and marketing teams deliver strong customer growth for Bristol. The role will be exciting, fast-paced and varied with a lot of on the job learning.

Your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Assist in organising projects and events
  • Support the creation of marketing content and collateral (including brochures)
  • Organise and coordinate the Marketing Teams administrative tasks
  • Keep data and marketing information up to date including updating spreadsheets creating reports
  • Schedule and support meetings and forums
  • Prepare and deliver presentations
  • Gather and analyse data for market analysis and research
  • Help with understanding our customers - supporting research, focus groups and customer forums and the building of our customer community
  • Support with product administration tasks
About you
You must have:
  • A good understanding of marketing principles with some knowledge and experience of digital technology, marketing landscape and media developments
  • Excellent IT skills especially using Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills, with the ability to work to deadlines while juggling multiple tasks
  • Solid reporting skills with a good understanding of data and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills both oral and written, including good copywriting skills
  • A customer oriented and self-motivated approach with the ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to problem solve and think creatively
  • A passion for Bristol and Bristol Energy's vision and values
You will ideally have:
  • 2 or more years experience in a similar role
  • Experienced in using Adobe InDesign and Photoshop
  • An understanding of using insights and analytics to monitor success and inform future decision making
  • Experience of working in the energy industry
