Your School:

Salusbury is a large Victorian 3-form entry school in Queens Park. As a Teaching Assistant, you will be a key part of our team delivering an excellent education for every child, every day.

The Post:

Teaching Assistant - Term Time Only - Required from October 2019

Scale 2 - Points 3 to 4

Point 3 = £18,065 + £1,925 (London Weighting) = £19,990 (£14,184 pro rata) before deductions (PAYE, NI, Pension etc.)

Working 30 hours per week (8.30am - 3.20pm) for term time only.

Paid weeks = 44.6 (39 working weeks plus 5.6 weeks leave entitlement)

Successful applicants will:
  • Be keen to join and contribute to a dynamic Inclusion team
  • Be able to use their initiative and think creatively
  • Be motivated to learn on the job
  • Have a good standard of Literacy and Numeracy
  • Have experience of working with children with learning, emotional or behavioural difficulties
  • Have an understanding of how children learn and develop
  • Have high expectations of both learning and behaviour
