A very exciting opportunity has been created due to continued growth and recent lucrative contract awards for an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer, to join my client who are an established and successful HVAC and M&E Building Support services provider who work in partnership with their loyal customer base to support a number of service & maintenance contracts throughout the Central Belt of Scotland on a full time permanent basis.

Employed in a field based role covering Central Scotland and working as part of their growing team, you will be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance including servicing, fault find diagnosis, breakdowns and reactive repairs to a wide range of gas fired and heating appliances including boilers, hot water systems and associated ancillary plant & equipment including pipework.

Essential requirements:

• Served recognised apprenticeship
• ACS Commercial Gas certified
• Possess comprehensive technical skills along with extensive experience in commercial fault finding
• Skilled in carrying out all aspects of commercial gas servicing and maintenance
• Able to demonstrate a strong focus on customer care with excellent communication skills
• Good problem-solving skills
• Confidence in own ability
• Willing to contribute to working as part of an "on-call rota"
• Full UK Drivers licence
• Willing to undergo relevant Disclosure/CRB checks

My client offers continued training, development and support and with having experienced teams of engineers and management in place, they are always on hand to provide additional support and assistance.

This opportunity would ideally suit a driven and ambitious individual who would like to "put their own stamp on things" so to speak and also due to the nature of the work involved there is always a huge emphasis on "upskilling" existing experience as the legally required training to ensure you are always up to scratch with the latest practices.
