Mortgage Case Manager

Basic Salary - £23,000 plus bonus.

As a Case Manager, you will offer clear, honest and compliant advice regarding the possible loans suitable for customer and their current financial circumstances. You will be responsible for managing inbound & outbound calls and emails to customers, dealing with any application queries they may have. Much of your workload will include handling calls from customers who have made applications and need help getting their loan paid to them. Some of these conversations will be challenging, but you will need to show sensitivity and understanding towards every customers' situation.

Responsibilities include:
  • Working in a high paced, target driven environment, effectively managing your own work load and efficiently contacting customers.
  • Assessing a customer's finances through open and honest conversations.
  • Having the confidence to question someone's circumstances and take ownership of the decision of whether to lend.
  • Educating customer about the process and influencing them to progress details quickly.
  • Evaluating the accuracy and authenticity of each customer's details and documents.
  • Managing multiple cases at any one time, often with conflicting deadlines.
  • Ensuring all activities comply with regulatory requirements and comply with all company policies.
  • Updating systems accurately to allow others to understand actions taken/proposed.
  • Frequent verbal & written communications with applicants, brokers and other departments.
  • Identifying any potentially fraudulent activity and escalate any concerns to team leader, Financial Crime team or the Compliance Department.

  • CeMap Qualified - Preferred but not essential (study package provided).

Full CeMAP qualification is a regulatory requirement for carrying out this role.Any offer of employment is subject to candidates providing evidence of exam passes in all three study modules.Candidates without this qualification will be required to undergo an intensive study programme and pass all exams during the initial 6 week training period.A full study package will be provided.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday, 2 days 9am to 5:30pm, 2 days 11:00am to 7:30pm (fixed)

Friday 9am to 5pm

Saturday (1 week in 4) 9am to 1pm
