Technical Account Manager
We are looking for a qualified Technical account manager to oversee and address our customers' technical needs. You will provide accurate technical service before and after the point of sale, ensuring customer satisfaction.
As a Technical account manager, you should have a foundry/moulding and pattern making background, able to explain technical details and requirements to a non-technical audience. You should also be results-driven and aspire to achieve specific goals and have the ability to work independently.
Ultimately, you should be able to provide technical, product and business knowledge to support sales process and strengthen customer relationships.
Responsibilities
* Maintain and develop existing customer relationships.
* Interpret customers specifications and agree process to meet customer requirements
* Explore and develop new markets to win new business and increase sales
* Prepare quotation to meet customer requirements
* Regular update and forecast potential order pipe line
* Provide technical support for customers to support pre-sales and post-sales processes
* Address all product-related queries on time
* Ability to absorb technical information.
* A confident, articulate, persuasive person who will not get down with the rejection that inevitably comes in a new business sales role.
* The ability to work in a small team environment.
Requirements
* Proven work experience as a Technical Estimator
* Solid technical background with hands on experience in a foundry or moulding and pattern making
* An ability to gasp customers' needs and suggest timely solutions
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
