Our client is on the lookout for a real standout Maintenance Engineer to join the Senior Engineering team at their flagship Lutterworth plant. Maintenance Specialist - Electrical or Mechanical Bias

This is a permanent role, working day shift (40hrs per week)

Salary :-£42,000 plus 10.6% shift allowance + 10% bonus and additional benefits

Development :-You will receive ongoing training and development to further your career. Heavy investment in state-of-the-art technology means that you will be working in the company's UK primary flagship plant.

Job Description

The technical specialist will ensure that all items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standard to ensure that their performance is safe and reliable. Continually improve performance of equipment / systems to support the development of the site and contribute to the engineering function meeting its service, quality and costs targets.

Key Responsibilities

• Has the authority to request parts and services from the maintenance revenue budget

• Be an active member of the weekly performance reviews/maintenance & planning reviews

• Help define, plan and lead maintenance tasks, including operations autonomous maintenance

• Monitor plant operational efficiency and reliability identifying areas of underperformance and implement plans to deliver improvements

• Drive route cause analysis to identify and implement preventative solutions (Own area action plans)

• Support successful implementation of new projects

• Ensure breakdowns/repair information is logged on CMMS (Computerised Maintenance Management System)

• Ensure that procedures as defined in the maintenance manuals are correctly implemented

Experience & Skills Required

The successful candidate will demonstrate the following:

• Time Served Electrical or Mechanical Engineer


• Experience in the maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical/PLC control systems

• Analytical skills with drive to implement improvements
