Our Role

Are you passionate and committed to defining and delivering compelling marketing campaigns? As an Energy Marketing Manager, you'll be part of a dedicated team delivering communications to retain our existing base, cross-sell additional products, fulfil our regulatory obligations and a bit of everything in between.

You'll work with stakeholders to help define the strategy right through to execution - knowing from the start what success looks like and how you're going to achieve it. You'll be writing best in class briefs which will inspire our agencies (and win us awards!), managing the end to end creative process including consolidating feedback and gaining all the necessary approvals. You'll get excited when you see a great creative that delivers against the brief but also know how to provide the not so good feedback. You'll understand the intricacies of working in a regulated environment and within the legal, regulatory and compliance frameworks.

Integral to all of this will be your ability to understand and use data, especially as we build out our Marketing Automation capability. You'll have a strong background in campaign performance and be able to analyse and use background to inform future campaign success. You'll know how to develop an effective CRM contact strategy and understand how to optimise communications journey mapping. You'll need to be a good communicator who is able to work together with external agencies to brief them on our needs but also our varied internal stakeholders within the Energy business.

Your Skills and Experience

You'll have previous experience working in either an agency or client side marketing team.

You'll be confident in managing campaigns from idea through to execution. You'll have a great eye for detail, always enthusiastic with a can-do attitude. You'll have excellent interpersonal and communications skills which means you are comfortable liaising with agencies and colleagues at all levels and have the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
