Job Title: Part Time Accounts Administrator

Salary: £12,700 (21 hours)

Benefits: Excellent benefits

Location: Shirley, Solihull


Our client, a large manufacturing company in Shirley are looking to recruit a Part Time Accounts Administrator to join their small, friendly credit control team.

This role is 21 hours per week spread over 5 days.

Key Duties:

·Posting the daily cash (Cheques, Bacs and Credit Cards) onto their in-house system

·Make sure all payments are allocated correctly in a timely manner

·Banking cheques

·Manage the administration of all new accounts that are received into the Credit Control Department

·Understanding and processing credit checks

·Request references for approval of new accounts retrieving the information either my telephone or email.

·Print daily invoices and statements

·Carry out Credit Control duties when required, chasing overdue accounts either by phone or email.

·Associated administration duties.

Key Skills/Experience Required:

·Experience in a similar Accounts based role.

·Display a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

·Excellent verbal/written communication.

·Identifying and initiating best practice and suggesting process improvements for the role.

·Microsoft Office knowledge, in particular Microsoft Excel.

·Being comfortable working under time pressures & continuously re-prioritising workloads.
