Job Title: Accounts Manager
Salary: £40,000 PA
Location: Dartford, Kent

Our client is a major Air Conditioner supplier who is now looking to increase their sales/marketing and now need an experienced Account Manager to join their team ASAP. Here you will be responsible for the development of current SLA account customers, increasing the service level agreements spend & increase other SLA partners in the FM & End User market sector etc
Main Responsibilities
· Liaising with procurement managers & decision makers within each SLA account to generate further business leads for the area sales team to follow up & execute.
· Create marketing opportunities with each SLA and liaise with the DAPUK marketing manager, in view of delivering presentations to the SLA customer base.
· Generate business leads & opportunities then distribute via the sales coordinator to the UK sales team.
· Manage the financial reporting on a monthly & quarterly basis on all of the SLA's, including customer rebates to spend and rebate accruals within the SLA agreements. Ensuring that any rebate payment made is against invoicing that has been paid on time within the SLA agreement.
· Take the lead for Debt chasing with the SLA accounts and liaise with Finance on any outcome, ensuring invoices are being paid on time and keeping debtor's days within the agreed limits.
· Introduce new strategic partners to the business within any market sector that is business is viable.
· Negotiate better and advanced terms & conditions to suit the DAPSUK business.
· All details and follow up activity is monitored through a companywide CRM system.
· UK travel when required.

Our Ideal Candidate
· Previous experience in account management operations
· Understanding of the financial aspect of the business (profit and loss)
· Good understanding of the commercial aspect of the business (T&C's)
· Able to deliver and present company presentations & promote the business in general.
· Competent in dealing with customers in senior positions.
· A strong customer/internal communication capability with a fair and honest character/attitude to staff and customers
· Strong negotiating skills and capability
· Good computer and numeracy skills having a good eye for detail
· Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written)
· Willingness to work extra/flexible hours
· Attend sites with engineers to gain further product knowledge
