Our client, one of the most capable and forward-thinking independent Insurance company, has a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Digital Content Manager, to join their growing Partnerships and Digital Marketing team, based in Leicestershire.

As a Digital Content Manager, you will be responsible for the development and execution of the content strategy for a series of new national brands and their websites, tailored to a new online insurance-buying audience. Using consumer insight and knowledge of market trends, you will be able create, improve and maintain content to achieve their business objectives.



Key Responsibilities

Create and publish engaging content for a variety of styles, lengths and objectives.

Create and own marketing communication across social media, email campaigns and landing pages with UX and SEO best practice in mind.

Plan and execute a content strategy and calendar that drives high user engagement.

To maintain and develop multiple tones of voice for different brands created for the BHL Group, as well as future projects.

Integrate the content and social media strategy to develop the online profile of our different brands/individuals in the business.

Collaborate with marketing and design teams to plan and develop site content, style and layout

As required, edit, proof-read and improve other team member's copy.

Optimize content according to SEO and analyse website traffic and user engagement metrics.

ensure compliance with law (e.g. copyright and data protection etc) and relevant ASA and FCA guidelines.

Support business requirements to promote the business' solutions and marketing needs.

Create a PR and digital outreach strategy to promote content to journalists and press.

Sharing content to raise brand awareness, monitoring web traffic and developing metrics to identify best practices.

Key Requirements

Proven experience within a relevant role or University degree level.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills to write engaging, on-brand copy in both print and online.

Proactive and creative with proven project management skills.

Good knowledge of use and administration of social media channel (Twitter/LinkedIn).

Excellent attention to detail.

The ability to work individually and as part of a team.

The ability to work under pressure and to meet agreed deadlines.

An understanding and appreciation of all matters in regulatory Compliance within Marketing.

Highly-motivated and enthusiastic, who can enhance and develop our current and future brands.

Naturally creative and have a strong background in content marketing digital media and PR, having previously operated at a similar level.

Working alongside others and adapting to a team culture quickly is an essential.

A background in finance or a regulated environment would be desirable.



This is offered as a full time permanent role.
