Ordnance Survey has an opportunity available for a Social Media and Content Executive (Consumer) to join us based at our Headquarters in Southampton. You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits.

About the Social Media and Content Executive (Consumer) role:

As a highly motivated, creative individual with commercial experience in managing social media and a passion for connecting with current and future customers, this is a career move which will give you the freedom and support to really make an impact - driving our social channels, pushing boundaries, creating solutions and hitting targets.

As a member of the marketing team you'll be focused on delivering our social media strategy (mainly Facebook, Twitter and Instagram), producing quality content, driving engagement, achieving sales and day to day community management.

What we are looking for in our Social Media and Content Executive (Consumer):

- Solid understanding of Social Media platforms and the different ways audiences consume content on them

- Ability to embrace new technology and change as the platforms evolve and you make it your business to keep on top of changes and new developments

- Creative, have outstanding attention to detail and love thinking outside of the box and coming up with engaging and innovative ways to talk to customers

- A self-confessed social media fan with experience of delivering commercial campaigns

- A passion for outdoor activity and enabling others to make the most of getting outside

- Strong content building and editing skills, with customer focus as key

- Excellent data interpretation and analytical skills

- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders

- Good communication and ability to influence

- Ability to use graphics tools such as Photoshop

- Working knowledge of outdoor consumer products and market
