Sewell Wallis are currently assisting a large, global organisation based in the heart of Leeds. This is an organisation that focuses on a range of services for their clients, including legal services, M&A and financial services. Our client has a flexible and autonomous working culture and has quickly become an employer of choice across the globe.

They now require a Finance Systems Manager to join their growing finance team due to a new and exciting project that is about to be launched. The role will be leading a small team and will work closely with stakeholders, project managers, suppliers and support teams across the company.

As the Finance Systems Manager your role will include the following duties:-

-Ensuring appropriate standards and processes are in place to allow the finance systems team to work effectively and efficiently
-Define and align change to the company's strategic plans for the financial systems
-Track incidents, issues and requests and look for opportunities to introduce efficiencies
-Plan and manage project related work identifying and escalating any concerns to time delivery
-Implementing, monitoring and reporting of controls across all finance systems
-Support budgeting, forecasting and BI which meet the requirements of the business
-Manage the relationship with the finance business teams and ensure regular update reports are provided
-Provide solutions for issues in the accounts/systems and ensure the correct system configuration related to new offices and legal entity changes
-Act as the key point of contact for any escalations issues within Elite
-Manage the upgrade of the current Elite system
-Assist in the management of third party suppliers

To be considered for this role you must have strong working knowledge of the Elite system and have worked in a professional services environment. You must also have proven stakeholder management experience and be able to work under pressure.
