RPS have been asked to provide project management services to oversee the design and fit out of a brand new radio studio. The new studio will be based in Belfast- our Project Manager will be expected to travel there for 2-3 days every couple of weeks.

With a wealth of experience to draw on through working with customers from a variety of sectors including Media, Banking and central Government, Reed Professional Services (RPS) understands the broad scope of project managing software design, build and development programmes that are end solutions focused. Our emphasis is on developing quality from the outset, testing at every step to keep both budget and deliverables on track.

What will you be doing?

RPS require an experienced Radio Broadcast Engineering Project Manager to join us as we begin the design and build of the new Radio studio. You'll be involved in initial requirements gathering, running the RFQ process, selecting a contractor and the overall management of the installation before handing over to BAU teams after successful completion. We need a self-starter, with strong Stakeholder and Contractor Management skills as direction and negotiation will play a key part of this role.
  • Experience: You'll have previously overseen the design and build of a new radio studio, and hold a strong understanding of key phases of successful completion including RFQ processes. In addition, you'll be experienced in delivering radio facilities in an Audio over IP (AoIP) context and understand the requirements for radio visualisation across web and mobile.
  • Skills: To succeed as our Project Manager, you will have excellent communication, leadership and negotiation skills and be confident in dealing with a variety of stakeholders and third parties. You'll be skilled at preparing and monitoring budgets and have an excellent track record in project governance reporting.
