We are looking for a highly capable Database Manager to join the Customer Engagement team within an industry leading manufacturer in Bourne to shape and manage their data strategy in order to deliver their CRM & PIM objectives. Either CRM or PIM (or both!) experience is highly desirable for this position, with Dynamics 365 experience being the non-essential-but-very-desirable icing on the cake.

As Database Manager you will responsible for all customer and product data and will work closely with data owners to embed rules, protocols and best practice in order to ensure the highest levels of CRM and PIM data quality and integrity and to manage and mitigate all data risks. You will work with the Customer Engagement team to build a deep understanding of the customer and will then ensure that this customer data is captured, collated and stored in line with current data protection legislation, using the data to create dashboards (Power BI) and reports (Excel) that provide insights and learnings across the business. Similarly, you will work across the business to ensure all product data is accurate and fit for purpose and will own and drive all PIM data related activity. As the CRM and PIM subject matter expert, you will train and guide internal users in its effective use and you will implement changes and updates to the CRM and PIM as a when required.

To succeed in this role you be an experienced Database Manager with confidence and competence in CRM and / or PIM, with Dynamics 365 being highly desirable but not essential. Used to working with very large data sets you will have an analytical approach evidenced by your advanced Excel skills and will be used to presenting your analysis to non data-savvy stakeholders using BI tools - Power BI being their tool of choice. You will have strong communication skills and the interpersonal dexterity required to influence and manage the expectations of internal stakeholders, using your advanced problem solving skills to challenge the status quo. You will be confident working as part of a team but it is essential that you are sufficiently organised and autonomous - you will be given plenty of scope to work on your own initiative.
