We are working with a national charity that operate an impressive portfolio of care services across the UK. The company have a mixture of services covering care for younger and older people within their own homes as well as in purpose-built services that provide excellent care. Amongst some of their services (including this one), they boast 'outstanding' CQC reports and have recently promoted some of the best internal staff members to senior management positions.

They are looking for a new Home Manager to run a medium sized care home that provides respite, nursing and residential care for elderly people. This is a relatively new care home that has an excellent CQC report, great [... Click Apply...] review and a positive reputation in the local area. The home has a good core group of staff, including a competent Clinical Lead and 2 x In-House Senior Managers who support with the day to day operations of the service.

The Candidate
The successful candidate must be a current Home Manager within an elderly care home that provides nursing care for elderly people. Experience of being involved in a successful care home that has achieved 'good' outcomes with CQC requirements is also desirable. As well as this, the client is looking for someone with good business acumen and thoroughly understands how to operate a business alongside provide residents with high quality.

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and provide evidence that they have the capability to run a successful care home service. This position requires a positive person who can recruit, retain and motivate an excellent staff team, build on good relationships with external professionals and essentially, ensure that all residents are cared for to the best possible standard.

We can only accept applications from people who are currently working within the elderly care home sector. We can't accept CV's with a domiciliary, support living or extra care scheme background.

Passion for elderly care
Preferably RMA level 4 or NVQ Level 5 qualified
RGN / RMN qualified
Good CQC knowledge

Location
This role is based near Blackburn, Lancashire and is commutable from Preston, Blackpool, Burnley, Bolton, Bury, Rochdale, Wigan and Southport.

Interview Process
The interview process will be in a 2-stage format.
Stage one: Face to face formal: Regional Manager and HRPB
Stage two: Face to face formal: MD and Regional Manager

Summary
My client is seeking a Home Manager with exposure to management within a care home, where the successful candidate can lead on running a successful care home in line with CQC requirements. In exchange, my client is offering a salary of up to £50k per annum + benefits.
