Treasury Accountant - Milton Keynes - Financial Services - £40,000-£50,000

A Financial Services business in central Milton Keynes currently has an opportunity for a qualified accountant to join the Treasury operation.

Working very closely with the Finance Director and the Head of Treasury, you will be responsible for day to day cash management and making sure that the business has the right funds in the right places to continue to grow!

Working for an innovative business who aims to disrupt sections of the industry through new and exciting products and offerings that challenge the traditional names. The role will be hugely visible internally, with the opportunity to really get to understand the ins and outs of how cash dictates growth in a high-growth business.

As a Treasury Accountant you will be responsible for cash management, cash flow forecasting, month end reporting, building relationships with lenders and investment banks, and develop an understanding into how the business raises capital

Key Responsibilities - Treasury Accountant:
- Day to day treasury and cash management
- Management of cash flow forecasting and payments
- Looking after incoming and outgoing payments, loans and external funding
- Work closely with external funding businesses and investment banks

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience of developing financial models.

A strong technical background is ideal and whilst knowledge of treasury would be desirable, it's not essential for this role. This role would be very well suited to someone who is trained in Audit, and looking to make a first move into Industry.

You will be someone with an entrepreneurial and inquisitive mindset. As the business grows, the leadership team are looking for people who can implement fresh ideas, new ways of working, and increased efficiencies in processes.
Working in a close proximity to the wider finance team, you will develop key working relationships with FP&A, Financial Reporting, The FD and the CEO.
