Communities and Marketing Coordinator - Spider are pleased to be supporting an ambitious Stowmarket based organisation in their search for a Communities and Marketing Coordinator to provide administrative and marketing support to the Communities Team as well as the Leadership Team, under the supervision of the Communities and Partnerships Manager.

The Communities and Marketing Co-ordinator role is a varied role in a fast-paced, busy office. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to flexible and able to assist with a wide range of functions from administrative, marketing and corporate support functions.

The Communities and Marketing Co-ordinator key duties include:
  • Help in the production of marketing materials.
  • Supporting the maintenance of the Social Media platform, including monthly reporting.
  • Assisting the team in the preparation and delivery of the marketing calendar and activities.
  • To provide secretarial support including supporting in the organisation and attendance at a variety of events throughout the year.
  • Responsibility of reception, providing a high level of customer service, meeting and greeting visitors and setting up of meeting rooms.
  • Assist with a wide range of corporate support functions (typically on one day of the week).
  • To undertake any other administrative duties as may be required by the Communities and Partnership Manager.

Skills and Attributes:
  • Ideally possess excellent and engaging copy/creative writing skills, with attention to detail on grammar.
  • Ability to manage multiple work streams simultaneously and prioritise work effectively.
  • High-quality completer/finisher with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to meet, with, speak to via email and telephone and work with all stakeholders.
  • Administrative/ secretarial experience desirable.
  • Possess a creative flair with an enthusiastic, willing approach and "can do" attitude.
  • Organised, flexible and a team player but equally able to work on own initiative.
  • Strong commitment to personal development, to be inquisitive and using every opportunity to increase knowledge, develop skills and abilities. Ideally a desire to further your career in Marketing.

This fantastic opportunity to play a key role in supporting the organisations community engagement, public relations and media profile. The role is 37 hours per week (Monday - Friday) with the possibility of part-time. There will be the occasional requirement to attend evening meetings and weekend events. In return, you will receive a salary of £19,554 per annum, a supportive and stimulating working environment to develop and showcase your skills.
