Company: Weleda UK Ltd
Reporting to the Finance & IT Director and working in a key role supporting the Leadership Team, you will develop robust and legal financial control systems that meet the requirements of Group Controlling and statutory regulations by implementing processes and leading the finance function across all areas of income and expenditure for improving control, visibility and accountability.

Key responsibilities
  • Maintain reporting functions on a day to day basis, delivering a set of audited financial accounts in line with Weleda global policies and to comply with UK tax law.
  • Produce monthly management and financial accounts, cash flow reports and variance analyses to support the business and management information for the Group
  • Ensure financial record keeping meets the requirements of Weleda, auditors & UK statutory regulations
  • Present financial data, creating relevant and useful reports including KPI's to assist Directors and Managers in their decision making, across the company
  • Support the business planning and budgeting processes
  • Build relationships with all members of the Leadership Team, external stakeholders and the Weleda Group
  • Develop and manage costing processes for UK production in conjunction with The Operations Director
  • Manage the audit preparation and maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations
  • Manage bank accounts and foreign currency accounts/transfers and bank reconciliations
  • Manage capital requests and budgeting processes
  • Construct and oversee the company's transaction processing systems and related internal controls
  • Maintain banking relationships to ensure appropriate financing and transaction support with the four eyes principle
  • Coach and develop own team and take an active role across the company

Your profile
  • Business/Finance/Accounting degree, or equivalent
  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified with 7+ years commercial experience, including management of staff
  • Advanced IT proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and financial systems
  • Specific knowledge of NAV 2018 and Jet reporting to an advanced level
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Ability to explain and present financial information to non-financial managers
  • Persevering and resilient - leads by example
  • Hands-on approach with a can-do attitude
  • Flexible and a good sense of humour
