We are looking for a knowledgeable and experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler for an independent insurance brokerage with an excellent reputation.

The company is well-established and offers a friendly, professional working environment where you will be supporting new and existing customers with their commercial insurance policies.

To be considered for the Account Handler opportunity, you must have previous commercial insurance experience and enjoy delivering exceptional levels of customer service.

Key responsibilities for the Commercial Insurance Account Handler:
  • Take initial calls from customers regarding new business, midterm adjustments and existing policy renewals
  • Process and resolve customer requests in a polite and efficient manner
  • Notify policy underwriters of any adjustments, calculate any premium changes and arrange remittance of premium refunds
  • support the department in administration duties and complete all supporting documentation in a timely, accurate and compliant manner

Skills needed for the Commercial Insurance Account Handler role:
  • Excellent telephone manner, communication and customer service skills
  • Effective listening and influencing skills
  • Good rapport building skills, able to gather and analyse information
  • The ability to identify and match the products available with customer requirements
