The company offer a full design, build and repair service working across a variety of sectors including: defence, mining, oil and gas, marine, power generation, cement, water, paper, steel and general manufacturing/engineering to name a few. They are one of the market leaders in this industry sector with manufacturing facilities on every continent.


Reporting directly to the Head of Service and Repair, the successful candidate will be focused on aftermarket Service, Repair, Maintenance and Overhaul as well as some new build opportunities (drop in replacement).

You will be the first point of contact for both existing and new customers requiring a service and repair query. You will be able to understand their needs in order to sell a technical solution managing these customer opportunities from initial contact though quotation and finally negotiation leading to the contract being awarded.

This role will take full responsibility for the day to day account management and ownership of existing and new customers, following on from incoming enquiries, leads identified by the business development function and in some cases combined initial visits.

The candidate will be a team player that can apply a logical and analytical nature to their work. Someone who is customer focused, positive and willing to get stuck in will succeed in the business. The role needs someone who is self-motivated and that enjoys working in an autonomous environment.

What we are looking for:

Due to the nature of this role the ideal candidate will have good interpersonal skills teamed with a technical background (Degree, HND, Apprenticeship or associated qualification) in Mechanical Engineering.

Experience within the Industrial Gears, Gearbox, Rotating Equipment or Power Transmission industry would be preferred. However, any other technical equipment sales experience that is mechanically orientated will be considered especially pumps, turbines and power generation products.

On offer is a very attractive basic salary with an industry leading bonus scheme which is uncapped. Top earners can earn over 40% commission.
