Due to our expanding team and client base, we are now seeking a Trainee Sprinkler Technician / Bell Tester in Ipswich.

The Role:

To ensure all planned work is completed in the allocated week / month
To ensure all reactive and corrective work is completed within set parameters where necessary
To support any business change for the benefit of the company
To be flexible with the working patterns as and when required
All work to be carried out to the current standards
Deliver sufficient information on report sheets to assist quotations
Carry out small works either on a service visit or following a quotation with support where needed when appropriately trained
To deliver excellent customer service
To undertake any training provided by the company
To liaise with office staff to assist in the resolving of queries
Provide suggestions for improvement of practices within the Company
Comply with all relevant technician practises, processes and company policies
Maintain clean vehicle at all times
Maintain company supplied tools and PPE
Maintain neat and tidy appearance

Experience (not essential but desirable):

Visual Inspections of sprinkler systems/ regular testing of sprinkler systems
Test water motor alarms
Diesel Engine experience/knowledge
Inspecting of fire department connections

Key Performance Indicators:

Complete all task issued to you by the required time frames
Ensure you have adequate parts and materials to complete your tasks
Complete all reactive works within set time frames
Ensure all works are completed correctly as per your training and issued tasks
Rectify minor faults and maintain system standards
