Job Role: Business Development Manager

Location: London

Salary: £50,000-£55,000 per annum.

Full/Part Time: Full time role. Permanent, but would consider interim as well.

Gilbert Meher are proud to be working closely with a leading specialist care and education provider who provide high quality education services to children and young people with special education needs.

With vast growth plans, this brilliantly run organisation have ambitious growth plans for the future to offer more services to children and young people across the UK.

This fantastic organisation are now looking to appoint a Business Development Manager to join their senior management team and develop a strategy plan for their organisation, including developing existing and new business areas.

This role is a fantastic opportunity to become part of an outstanding organisation, which will offer multiple opportunities for career progression and development.

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop existing business and identify new business areas.

* Establish, build and maintain relationships with local authorities and commissioners.

* Oversee the day to day management of the business development team, which in turn will grow the organisation further.

* Promote the expertise and success of the organisation.

Essential Requirements:

* Must have experience working as a business development manager previously.

* Ideally worked within the education/residential sector.

* Must have extensive experience liaising with local authorities as a private provider.

* Proven track record of generating new business.

* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

* Excellent negotiating skills.
