Central Employment are the recruitment partner of choice for a recognised online retail brand and distributer of consumer products, as they look to recruit an experienced E-Commerce & Online Marketing Manager.

Purpose of the E-Commerce & Online Marketing Manager:

Reporting to the board of directors, the Ecommerce Manager is responsible for implementing the digital marketing strategy, by managing the Ecommerce team which has key strengths in PPC, SEO, CRO, Social Media, Email and Creative Content Writing. The digital marketing strategies will be consistent and run across the available selling channels including brand websites, Amazon accounts, eBay accounts and support subgroup brands in their expansion. The business has seen years of success selling online and this is an exciting opportunity for a digital marketing expert who has experience in managing a team of online marketing specialists. The role is a diverse role which will give you the opportunity to work with the company directors to forming an Ecommerce Digital Marketing Agency.

Overview of Key Duties / Accountabilities:
  • Develop online marketing strategies to promote the company and its products
  • Maintain seasonal digital marketing calendar for all brands
  • Create significant brand awareness to drive traffic, acquire leads and new customers
  • Manage the team of specialised Executives and Assistants in their areas of digital marketing
  • Evaluate key metrics to achieve maximum results from the department
  • Plan daily workloads in line with the latest trends and algorithm changes
  • Manage campaign budgets and advertising spend
  • Provide monthly reports analysis on ROI and identify improvements

Person Specification

  • Digital agency or B2B/E-Commerce background
  • Proven examples of online sales and marketing strategies
  • Critical thinker with attention to detail
  • Strategy implementation with analysis of campaign results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, self-motivated with outstanding planning and time keeping

  • Outstanding knowledge of all social media platforms including social advertising
  • Excellent knowledge of paid search and search engine optimization best practices
  • Online marketing campaign management

Experience & Qualifications:
  • Degree or equivalent in Digital Marketing or Marketing
  • 3-5 experience of marketing, ecommerce of digital marketing management
  • Marketing, content creation, planning of team dynamics
  • Google Analytics Certified
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript
