The Role:

This is a newly created role within a global organisation who are growing their operation locally. Working within a small team, you will get exposure to all areas of the business and will expand your HR knowledge under the leadership of one of the countries most respected HR professionals.

The role will play an important part of increasing the headcount locally in line with the business growth plans. You will work closely with internal teams and forge relationships with external suppliers.

The Day to Day:
  • Build and maintain relationships with specialist recruiters
  • Review and update UK job descriptions, ensuring brand/ corporate/ legal compliance
  • Engage with Hiring Managers to understand role requirements and prepare individual role sourcing brief
  • Manage job board advertising and career-site postings
  • Identify candidates using LinkedIn, job boards databases and social media
  • Review, promote and develop UK employee referral scheme
  • Screen candidate applications and schedule and conduct interviews with Hiring Manager
  • Management of all correspondence with candidates
  • Schedule employee onboarding and induction
  • Complete and maintain resourcing administration and records including equality monitoring requirements
  • Build relationships with local universities to develop talent pipeline
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience
  • Co-ordinate and document the progress of all Organization Development project activity
  • Support the development and delivery of allOrganization Development projects to include:
    • Performance management
    • Career development
    • Succession planning
    • Workforce planning
    • Skills enhancement
    • Learning & Development
  • Support the development and delivery of Diversity, Inclusion and Belonging initiatives
  • Review and update UK Employee Handbook to ensure brand/ corporate and legal compliance
  • Support the development and delivery of UK wellbeing activities
  • Support the development and delivery of UK site engagement activities
  • Develop UK social media calendar and manage updates

The Person:
  • 1-2 years experience in an HR / recruitment role
  • Strong academic background
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent IT skills including MS Office Suite
  • Desire to develop their knowledge and experience within different HR disciplines (eg - D&I, L&D etc)
