In the Digital Solutions Change Support team our aim is to aid the successful implementation of change within Digital Solutions Operations across Edinburgh and Witham.

The team is responsible for assessing the business impacts for any operational change and ensuring a successful implementation within Digital Solutions Operations. We cover the full life-cycle of a project (Initiation through to implementation) from requirement gathering, business impacts, training, testing, post implementation, handover and general communications.

We're happy to be able to offer an exciting opportunity to join the team on a 12 month fixed term contract as a Change Platform Support Analyst based in Witham.

Successful applicants will be expected to:

·Follow the Change Support team framework for all changes and projects to ensure successful delivery into Digital Solutions Operations

·Represent Digital Solutions Operations at project meetings

·Challenge plans and solutions on behalf of Digital Solutions Operations

·Provide regular updates to the Lead Change Support analysts and the Change Platform Support manager

·Build relationships and work with key stakeholders

·Manage tasks to ensure successful completion within agreed timescales

·Consider risks and ensure that they are recorded and tracked against the project

·Work on multiple projects of varying sizes and delivery dates

·Plan and create testing and training plans

·Deliver training

·Team working and relationship management skills at an operational and management level

·Good understanding of the Financial Services industry and the platform market in particular

·Good understanding of platform propositions and distribution channels including knowledge of platform wrappers and investments

·Understanding of financial services distribution, advisory businesses and processes

·Detailed knowledge of tax regulations for pension and investment products

·Strong working knowledge of MS packages (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·Strong working knowledge of compliance & risk policies

·Strong working knowledge of Jira

Experience:

·Previous experience of working in a Platform or Mutual Funds environment

·Working in complex organisational environments, where operational issues are linked to various stakeholders, with competing dependencies and drivers

·Operating in a continuous business and customer improvement environment

·Supporting operational risk processes

·Experience of supporting operational system changes and implementations

·Experience of working as part of a project as a Subject Matter Expert

Qualifications:

No specific qualifications required. Project management, investment/financial planning, pension's qualifications and Lean Six Sigma awareness would be advantageous.

Willingness to apply for and study towards IOC or relevant qualifications up to Diploma level.
