My client is an industry leading international innovator of cutting-edge technology for the global energy markets. My client seeks a Global QHSE Manager to lead their quality, health, safety and environment functions and provide leadership across the business in developing, deploying and managing a comprehensive QHSE strategic road-map for the group.

Reporting to the MD and managing a global QHSE team of ten, the Global QHSE Manager will be tasked with driving improvement in operations, playing a vital role in the provision of world class performance and compliance for the company.

Main responsibilities of the role include:

* Create and develop best in class QHSE strategy and policy across the globe

* Ensure company-wide compliance to all HSE legislative requirements

* Manage and develop the QHSE team and personnel

* Lead on all QHSE continuous improvement based activities and initiatives

* Develop, improve and continuously promote behavioural safety initiatives and the development of a true safety culture

* Change management

* Maintain and manage QHSE audit programmes

* Maintain and lead on HSE ISO programmes

* Supplier quality improvement & development

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you are an expert in the field of HSE with some experience of quality management within an engineering setting. You must possess experience gained to a senior level i.e. Senior Manager/Director, ideally with multi-site or international management expertise. You will be a business partner in essence, offering a truly strategic resource who is capable of leading, implementing and driving change and improvement.

Key selection criteria includes:

* NEBOSH diploma

* Trained auditor

* QHSE expert

* Ideally educated to Degree level (HNC as a minimum) in a relevant subject

* Ideally chartered IOSH status

* Behavioural HSE culture expert

* Managed an HSE function in a complex/multi-layered/diverse organisation

* International experience

* Considerable change management skills and expertise

* Continuous improvement expertise

* Customer focused

* Excellent communication and presentation skills

* Born leader

* Tenacious and resilient
