An growing technology business in Norwich, who specialise in the integration of technical equipment for the maritime & offshore industries, is looking to hire an experienced Document Controller to support with both current and pending tender processes.

The Role:

The Document Controller will take responsibility and management of bid library documents and work packs, ensuring all departments are delivering on time to ensure each bid process is effectively managed so that work packs can be signed off correctly and on time.

You'll work alongside Project Engineers and Technical Managers to coordinate and collect various technical documents from respective departments so that each project can be signed off and delivered within scope.

You'll organise each work pack in relation to the constraints of each project, ensuring the packs are complete, fully auditable and in order.

About you:

A hands-on position, you'll need proven experience working as a Document Controller role, having ideally led or managed this function independently and implemented effective processes and systems successfully in a previous role.

A background working within/from the Oil & Gas, Marine, Offshore or Renewable Technology sector will also be required, due to the technical nature of the role.

There will also be requirement to travel internationally, spending time on-site as part of the tendering process. As such, a willingness and flexibility to spend time away will be required.

In return:

As this is a new role within the business, there is an opportunity to implement new document control processes in relation to how data is collected, stored and distributed on the Bid Library. The business fully intends to expand and as such, this creates an opportunity for the right person to progress and possibly build a team around them as the business grows.

If you have the skills and experience required and would like to be considered, please submit a copy of your CV straight away.
