Are you currently working as an employee benefit consultant, or corporate pensions adviser, and looking for a new challenge? We can offer a fantastic opportunity to take control of your career in a small, yet highly professional firm, based in Devon and operating nationally.

Pilot Financial is looking to expand our team, both to help manage our existing corporate relationships and to develop the consistent flow of referrals and new enquiries.

The indicative salary range is £45,000 - £55,000, plus a car allowance, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience and regulatory status. An annual bonus is also payable, conditional on meeting personal and business objectives. There is potential for equity participation in the future.

About the role:

The purpose of the role is to provide high quality workplace pension and employee benefit advice to businesses across the UK.

Responsibilities include:
  • Workplace DC scheme reviews
  • Group protection and healthcare advice;
  • Advice on voluntary benefits and flexible benefit solutions;
  • Annual and lifetime allowance advice to senior staff;
  • Worksite presentations.

A key aspect of the role will be to tailor and implement Pilot Financial's proprietary Select Benefits flex-platform with new clients.

Ensuring that Pilot's existing client servicing commitments are met and exceeded, with the support of the client servicing team, is also key.

The role will be based in Totnes, but some travel for client meetings will be required.

About you:

You are motivated by delivering the very best employee benefit solutions, with the clients' interests always coming first.

You are technically highly competent, particularly in corporate pensions, employee benefits, flex-platforms, and related areas.

You are able to work under pressure and take ownership of tasks, prioritising effectively to meet deadlines.

You have an entrepreneurial flair and excel at developing new client opportunities.

You have excellent attention to detail in both written and analytical work.

You have outstanding people skills, a positive attitude and enjoy working collaboratively.

You are always professional, ethical and discreet.

Requirements:

A minimum of 5 years' employee benefits consulting/corporate pensions advice experience.

Preferably educated to degree level.
