Position: Digital Marketing Manager
Location: Central Reading, close to Reading Railway Station
Job type: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £35k per annum

About the role:

They are looking for a technically adept - hands on - B2B Digital Marketer to develop, execute and co-ordinate all aspects of their digital media presence including development of a new web site in the very near future. It would help if you have experience of working in a fast-moving technology or software development context so that you feel confident enough to grasp technical subject matter and translate it into audience-specific materials.


- Ramping up their on-line presence to drive more inbound business customers through their open source sales and enquiries.
- Managing their social media business accounts.
- Working with colleagues to create compelling content and optimising digital campaigns for their target audiences including their peer groups of developers, digital marketers, CTOs and others.
- Using your digital expertise to carry out quality and technical checks on all their posts to make sure they are well presented and download quickly and clearly on any device.
- Showcasing your enhanced digital marketing skills by posting blogs, case studies and other content onto their high-speed, fully optimised website.
- Tracking and analysing website traffic flows and providing information to help them reduce bounce rates, increase dwell time and improve conversion rates.
- Creating, editing and posting videos, infographics, podcasts and audio content and other materials for on-line sites, and face to face presentations.
- Using their CRM system (Microsoft) to maximise contact and engagement with prospective, current and their "we would like you back" clients.
- Identifying new trends in digital marketing, evaluating new technologies and keeping our client ahead of the game.
- Managing an instant message on line "chat" for current and potential customers.

About you:

- Be as excited about their product and its applications as they are - continuously looking to break new ground in digital.
- Eager to learn about and open up their digital marketing on new channels as they emerge.
- Show you understand how to use SEO / SEM to make our client's postings stand out.
- Preferably have working level knowledge of some or all of HTML / CSS / JavaScript.
- Have experience of co-ordinating campaign planning and delivery.
- Knowledge of On-page audits, Mailchimp, Key Word Mapping, On-page Content Strategy and Link Building.
- Be highly proactive, and willing to work with colleagues to help you to create content and other materials.
