We are a family run business operating care homes in South East. We are currently recruiting for an Accounts & Payroll Assistant.

In this varied role, you will be responsible for the payroll, sales ledger and bank reconciliations whilst assisting the Line Manager with general accounting reports and adhoc tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

- Preparing customer invoices, assisting in management of accounts receivables

- Completing bank reconciliations

- Preparing payroll hours and completion of payroll on Sage Payroll Software along with processing starter/leaver and pension/auto enrolment

- Processing purchase invoices, management of purchase ledger

- General Bookkeeping, managing day-to-day transactions

- Dealing with telephone queries

- Assisting the finance department and senior accounting staff members with various other ad-hoc tasks

Preferred Skills:

- Some previous experience in similar position

- Strong communication skills both verbal and written

- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

- Experience of working with Sage accounts/Payroll.
