Diamond Search Recruitment Ltd is delighted to be representing our Client in the search for a talented Quality Manager who must possess an incredible understanding of how to design, implement and improve Quality Management Systems. Your proven experience in the delivery and improvement of service delivery in line with ISO9001 would also be highly desirable.

Our Client has built a fantastic reputation; through designing and manufacturing a high- quality range of precision products and has very exciting future prospects. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a first-class Quality Manager who is looking for a new and exciting challenge.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the running of their QMS whilst reviewing current quality processes and implementing new process improvements.

The role is being offered on a permanent basis. Hours of work are Monday to Friday, 42.5 hours per week.

The Quality Manager will be responsible for:

• Improving/maintaining the integrated Quality Management System (QMS) in line with ISO 9001 standards

• Improving/maintaining the internal audit program for monitoring the QMS

• Educating colleagues through process change and achieving buy in to new processes

• Engaging all areas of the business to eliminate process failures and implement robust controls to ensure failures are not repeated through process change and management information reporting

• Presenting relevant information to the management team to show progress improvements/opportunities/risk

• Improving/maintaining SOP registers and ensuring SOP are followed

• Implementing FMEA registers • Liaising with clients/external bodies regarding the QMS

• Maintaining and auditing the approved suppliers list

• Arranging/chairing regular management review meetings of the QMS

• Ensuring the QMS remains relevant to the company requirements and scope.

Essential Skills:

• Proven improvements around service delivery in line with ISO 9001 standards

• Experience working within a manufacturing and engineering background

• Proven Quality Managerial experience

Desirable Skills:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, such as 5s or six sigma • SPC/PQR analysis

• Knowledge of 8D reports and root cause analysis

• Knowledge of FMEA analysis

• Previous experience in working with ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 standards would be advantageous

Please only apply if you possess a relevant Engineering Degree, OR you have a minimum of 5 years of experience gained within a relevant Quality Engineering role.

All the manufacturing processes, including heat treatment, are integrated in their production plant and are designed to ensure the maximum safety of their team.
