Young Epilepsy is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.

Your role
You will assist our Teachers in the delivery of the curriculum and actively contribute towards the provision of the learning environment. As an integral member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will maximise individual learning opportunities and outcomes, allowing students to grow and gain independence through the creation of a safe and caring atmosphere.

What we need from you
• You will have Level 2 Literacy and Numeracy (or equivalent), along with CACHE 3, Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People's Workforce, or NVQ 3 in Teaching Assistants (or equivalents) or be working towards
• Be able to provide and ensure the consistency of care and support to the learner group
• Have proven experience of promoting learning, assessing learning and recording learner progress and achievement
• Knowledge of specialist areas such as autism, epilepsy and PMLD is also required
• Experience of Horse Riding would be advantageous.
