Responsibilities

To provide high standard of administrative support to the Financial Services advisory team, including:
  • - Business processing and record keeping
  • - Supporting members of the team with diary activity
  • - File preparation, copying, scanning
  • - Using back office software (iO) for record keeping and reporting as required
  • - Answering telephone calls / dealing / taking and passing on messages - record keeping
  • - Preparing renewal/review material and draft reports
  • - Obtaining and presenting quotes
  • - Assisting team members in any other reasonable tasks associated to the company's business
  • To work with existing staff to achieve our objective of writing profitable and compliant business
  • To be proactive in suggesting and creating improved and efficient working methods

Company Procedures
  • Understand and follow the company's Procedure Manual
  • To assist team members and to comply with the requirements of GDPR and the company's Compliance Manual

Training & Development
  • Understand and follow the company's Training and Competence scheme

Complaints
  • No upheld administrative complaints (of significance)

Communication
  • To provide a friendly and professional point of contact for clients, colleagues and providers, where appropriate
  • Good quality of communication with team members
  • To perform as an integral part of the financial services team, sharing knowledge and experience wherever possible

Qualifications, Experience & Capabilities
  • High standard of organisational and both written and oral communication skills
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Resilient, adaptable and resourceful
  • Willing to embrace new challenges and learn on the job
  • Minimum of 2yrs Financial Services advisory practice experience
  • FA1 (or progress toward FA1 or similar)
  • Familiarity with commonly used industry systems including insurer portals, back-office & quoting systems
