Accounts Payable Clerk Temp Role in Central London

Your new company

An impressive and well established charity based in central London are looking to recruit a hardworking and conscientious Purchase Ledger Clerk.

Your new role
As the Purchase Ledger Clerk you will be responsible for the following:

Coding invoices and posting ledgers

Payments

Obtaining correct authorisation for invoices

Set up new supplier accounts and maintain existing account details within the purchase ledger

Preparing BACS payments weekly

Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements

Coding expense forms and posting to ledger

Essential Experience of the Accounts Payable Clerk:

Proven experience working within a large Accounts Payable department

Proven ability to process high volumes with high accuracy

Professional demeanour with the ability to build rapport with clients

Ability to work to deadlines.

Competent user of MS Excel - VLOOKUP's essential

What you'll need to succeed

As well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a can-do attitude is required, with the ability to effectively manage suppliers in order to maintain open and effective communications with suppliers at all times.
