This is a great new opportunity for a candidate who really wants to make a difference for our client who are a thriving in their niche area of business. There are tonnes of Purchase Ledger / Accounts Payable roles out there, but we can categorically say this is a role which would present open doors and opportunities you are unlikely to get anywhere else in this area. This is a fast-paced environment requiring accuracy and speed to ensure up to 1000 invoices per month are processed properly.

Your job duties will be:
  • Process for payments for purchase ledger invoices and credit notes
  • Using high attention to detail to check invoices match the purchase order and any accompanying administration
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Supporting the purchasing team with any information needed around invoicing
  • Reconciling supplier statements following up with communication
  • Checking VAT and any how to deal with appropriately on invoices from EU
  • Filing any other relevant administration

Experience and Skills:
  • Experience working within a relevant accounts based role
  • Matching high volumes of invoices
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Team Player who can take instructions and work self-sufficiently also
