THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are supporting a utility company based in South Yorkshire with an exciting project opportunity.

They are looking for a training manager for 6 months to support with training and supporting their manager. This could extend a couple of months and is looking to start straight away.

THE JOB:
  • To establish the company's training and development programme. (TNA to Evaluation)
  • Develop and own a set of best-practice standards on training design, development and delivery for all training on strategic programmes to follow and adhere to.
  • Provide quality assurance to all training deliverables including approach, plan, training needs analysis and course content.
  • Collaborating and taking a consultative approach with our People Managers, putting together the best training & development & career management programs.
  • Support and coach managers throughout the training and onboarding process.
  • To deliver training programmes across the business.
  • To design and deliver competency assessment documentation.
  • Support the implementation of improvement programmes.
  • All of the above to be completed in accordance with company values including budget and timelines.

THE PERSON:

As this role will be part of the HR team you will be required to be flexible regarding your duties and hours of work.

Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience

HR & Training experience & knowledge as Inhouse practitioner.CIPD Qualified.Commercial experience and knowledge.(PR, Budgets, Contract negotiations, Social media)Experience of designing and delivering training.Experience of design and delivery of competency assessment frameworks.Experience of managing customer relationships and delivering change management.Excellent organisational skills.Effective written and verbal skills.Project management experience - implementation of new systems/ways of working.IT literate - software systems, Microsoft packages, internet platforms.Clean Driving Licence & Access to VehicleMeet Security Clearance requirements - which include UK resident for last 5 years.
