Oracle ERP Project Manager job, Bradford, will need Oracle ERP experience, £475 day rate, 6-12 month contract. some EU travel

Our eyes are open! We are looking for an experienced, hands on Oracle ERP Project Manager to run an exciting project from our shared service centre in Bradford. This is for an immediate start on a 6-12 month contract.

What will you be doing?
The role will be working with the Programme Director, Technology Solution Owner and Business Solution Owner to scope, plan and deliver an ERP roll out. This is a huge project which has already taken place in a couple of other countries and we are now looking to continue bringing this business to the UK to consolidate a Oracle ERP system into a single platform.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery to time and quality along with project scoping, planning, execution, progress reporting, issue, risk, dependency and change management, deployment planning and execution.

Are you right for the role?
* You must have successfully managed a minimum of 3 full life-cycle Oracle EBS R12 implementation projects in the last few years.
* You will possess experience planning and executing detailed Oracle ERP activities related to business requirements development; Conference Room Pilot (CRP) cycles, system integration/user acceptance testing, end user training and detailed cut-over planning
* You will be familiar with project governance best practices in the areas of issue, change and risk management
* Previous experience in planning and execution of the activities required to deliver project scope within schedule and budget constraints
* Project management experience leading diverse project teams and interfacing with C-level executives
* Working with functional and technical leads to prepare and manage detailed delivery plans
* Ensure that resources are appropriately managed and motivated
* Reporting on project status and progress, managing dependencies, escalating issues and mitigating risks
* You will prepare for and lead weekly project review and input into governance meetings as required
* Work with the business solution owners to ensure that the solution is fit for purpose and meets business and technical requirements
* Change Management ensuring any changes to scope are assessed for impact
* Strong technical aptitude and an ability to provide a communication bridge between the business and IT teams

Skills/Knowledge/Experience:
* Strong communication and influencing skills with the ability to work at all levels; adapting communication style as appropriate.
* Experienced with Microsoft Project and Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word)
* Experience working in a high-pressured environment, showing an ability to prioritise and co-ordinate with stakeholders to meet deadlines
* Highly organised and excellent attention to detail
* Excellent communication skills; verbal, written and presentation
* Ability to prioritise and identify where to focus effort
* Ability to work as a self-starter
Project Management certification such as PRINCE2/PMP
* Experience with Oracle ERP solution design is desirable
