A fantastic opportunity for someone with combined analyst and data engineering skills to learn about and contribute to the digital insights work taking place at Essentra Components.

You will be supporting the entire digital team and associated projects with specific domain know how and expertise around collecting, cleaning, structuring and analysing data.

A successful candidate must be comfortable with creating and maintaining datasets to sustain a robust reporting and analysis environment. That involves taking ownership of the tag management and data harvesting processes, ETL processes from digital platforms, management of data tables, the delivery of well-designed visual reporting as well as excellent stakeholder management and communications.

You must have a strong commercial mindset and understanding of the digital landscape in a b2b context, able to interpret trends and clearly articulate key insights to business stakeholders.

  • Maintain and improve the digital measurement strategy
  • Analytics and MarTech implementation using Tealium (our tag management solution)
  • Extract, Transform and load data from a variety of internal and external data sources for report and insight generation
  • Platform ownership of Analytics tools.
  • Champion and communicate a greater understanding of the digital landscape and analytics across the business.
  • Deliver CRO prioritisation and opportunity analysis as well as A/B Testing.
  • Generate insights and reporting via compelling visuals and narratives to key stakeholders driving innovation and improvement of the Essentra's Hassle free offer.
  • Customer segmentation and audience building

Key Technical Competencies:

Tag Management Systems:
  • Capable of defining and communicating requirements to dev team for data layer implementation.
  • GTM, Ensighten or Tealium (Preferable)
  • JQuery, Javascript
  • Testing and QA of analytics implementation

Digital Platform Experience:
  • Expert understanding of the Google Analytics platform within an ecommerce setting
  • Google Adwords and other Ad Tech platforms
  • Knowledge of A/B Testing and associated tools such as
    • Optimizely
    • Visual Web optimiser
    • Hotjar

Data Management and visualisation:
  • Knowledge of database systems
    • SQL and NoSQL
    • Cloud system such as AWS, Azure and Google Cloud (desired, not essential)
    • Proficiency in SQL is desired but not essential.
  • Data Analytics and Visualisation Tools
    • Data Wrangling and cleansing
    • Data Modelling and Data Architecture
    • Tools such as
      • Alteryx (desired)
      • Tableau / Qlikview / PowerBI
      • Excel (Advanced)
    • Proficiency in other program languages such R and Python are an advantage.
