The Company:

·The company are an innovative new player in 'end of line' packaging technology. Their new packaging system enables FMCG manufacturers to significantly reduce plastic consumption, lower costs and generate fewer CO2 emissions, in turn helping them to meet the FMCG industry's need for packaging waste reduction without the need for Capex investment.

Job Role of the Marketing Manager:

·The business has recently recruited a Commercial Director to lead the scale up process and now needs to employ a Marketing Manager to build awareness of the business and its products. Their goal is to become the industry's preferred option for 'end of line' packaging solutions, based upon the benefits that they deliver, and the level of customer service that they provide - in order to do this, They need a passionate individual who can deliver the following:

·Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns

·Oversee a social media strategy

·Manage and maintain the organisation's website

·Write and optimise content for the website and social networking accounts such as Facebook and Twitter

·Track and analyse website traffic flow and provide regular internal reports

·Attain key performance indicators such as reducing the website bounce rate, increasing dwell time or improving conversion

·Continually work on the Search Engine Optimization of the website(s)

·Fix any errors or bugs in online content

·Edit and post videos, podcasts and audio content to online sites

·Arrange webinars and webcasts

·Create online banner adverts and oversee pay per click (PPC) ad management

·Write copy for email marketing campaigns

·Identify new trends in digital marketing, evaluate new technologies and ensure the brand is at the forefront of industry developments, particularly developments in mobile marketing

·Work on printed material to supplement online products

·Organise and deliver events and exhibitions

The Individual:

·Are you passionate about the current environment issues we face today? Here they use 70% less plastic, 40% less corrugate and also 90% less energy than conventional heat tunnel / carton solutions

·They are a small, tight knit business and are looking for some very special people, people who truly understand the importance of delivering exceptional levels of customer service, can work as a team and who have a goodunderstanding of the FMCG industry. To succeed at this role, you will have to have experience in all aspects of digital marketing preferably, gained within either the FMCG, packaging, equipment or manufacturing sectors.

·An outgoing and confident individual, excited by a role that will challenge you and are keen to progress to a position where you can shape, create, and ultimately lead the future marketing strategy of a business. You will be passionate about the environment as well as being highly structured, numerate and organised, and will be able to demonstrate your ability to organise, schedule and deliver tasks as part of a wider project plan.

Skills & Qualifications:

·A relevant marketing qualification or associated discipline.

·A working understanding of the FMCG industry and some of the issues that manufacturers have to face when dealing with the big UK supermarkets

·An entrepreneurial and 'consultative' approach

·Skilled in Social Media across all of the popular platforms

·Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills

·An effective and eloquent communicator with a complete command of the English language

·Have a level of emotional intelligence that allows for an empathetic working relationship with colleagues, clients and suppliers

·Be incredibly well organised so as to work smarter not necessarily harder

·Have a good understanding of the principles of project management with a can-do attitude that allows you to ensure that key milestones are delivered on time

·Demonstrable expertise in editing, writing, video editing and web development with a sound knowledge of HTML / JavaScript

·Be financially astute and have the ability to gather key business intelligence and analyse data effectively

·A high level of personal resilience and an absolute passion to succeed

·A self-starter with the drive and ability to work from home and travel throughout the UK as appropriate

·Have well developed Microsoft Office skills - specifically advanced Word and PowerPoint

·Possess a clean driving licence
