LINKS Recruitment are working with a leading Manufacturing company based in Cardiff. We are looking for a experienced 2nd line support Engineer to join a growing team. Excellent career progression offered within a growing team.

The 2nd Line support Engineer will be responsible for end to end design, implementation and support of infrastructure, both hardware and software.

2nd Line Support Engineer Responsibilities
  • Day to day service desk tasks along with 2nd & 3rd line project work.
  • Service desk work supporting both local and external users via either at desk or remotely.
  • Working within the team to deliver the services that the business requires day to day - possibly also out of hours.
  • Project work around servers (both on prem and virtual).
  • Integration of applications, networking, O365 integration (2FA).

2nd Line Skills and Attributes
  • Active, Directory, Exchange, Lync, Azure, Office 365
  • Storage SAN / NAS
  • Microsoft Certification (MCSE / MCTS / MCSA)
  • Knowledge of Virtualisation (VMware)
  • Firewall Technologies & Security Management
  • Hardware Skillsets
  • Cisco switch management
  • Sharepoint Online

  • £30,000 per annum
  • Pension Scheme
  • Profit share annually
