After a very successful first year of business, Five Education is in need of more supply teaching assistants in North Somerset. We work with mainstream schools, special schools and alternative provisions from EYFS to Key Stage 5. With 15 years of combined education recruitment experience, we understand the value of good relationships with our clients and candidates. We are looking for dedicated and passionate members of staff to start ASAP and carry on working with us in September. We're also very keen to speak to those of you who want to start in September.

Responsibilities and duties:

  • Supporting students in a classroom
  • Assisting students in their work
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups
  • Helping with differentiation
  • Helping with life skills lessons

Essential Criteria:

  • A flexible and resourceful approach
  • Have a right to work in the UK (A Valid Visa)
  • Experience working with children who have SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs) would be ideal but is not essential
  • Full driving licence
  • Two recent child based references and relevant DBS/ Police checks
  • Access to a car would be ideal due to the location
  • Able to work 8.30-3.30 2-5 days per week term time only
