Our client, a prestigious company in the heart of Cardiff are looking to recruit a Digital Content Manager to join their busy Digital Web team at Head Office.

In this exciting role, you will lead and manage the digital content development for the company's online audiences. Leading on strategies for content creation for the website and social media, and developing policies and procedures to ensure a consistent approach to commissioning across the company's online presence.

This is a Welsh-essential role, so only candidates with the ability to communicate fluently in Welsh need apply.

Role Profile:
  • Lead content strategy and report on the performance of digital platforms
  • Oversee and edit content produced by staff across the company departments and ensure that the online reputation is managed
  • Line manage digital content staff in the Digital Media team and support the professional development of staff in other departments
  • Advise, train and support staff across departments to develop engaging content
  • Determine measures of success and report on KPIs and targets for digital channels
  • Analyse user behaviour, convey it to other staff and use it to inform future digital developments
  • Advise on the strategic direction of the Digital Media Department's key responsibilities and vision
  • Create a high quality, relevant and accessible wealth of material available on the website for a range of audiences
  • Support the development of a higher international profile and an extended reach

Experience & Skills Required:
  • Knowledge of content strategy and development for digital platforms
  • Understanding of data protection legislation (GDPR) and intellectual property rights
  • Relevant experience of editing and commissioning content for digital platforms
  • Experience of producing policies or guidelines for digital platforms
  • Relevant experience of using analytical software for measuring online impact and producing reports
  • Experience in planning, organising and delivering training to improve digital literacy
  • Copywriting and editing to a high standard in both Welsh and English
  • Basic understanding of HTML and experience of using image manipulation software such as Adobe Photoshop
  • Excellent organisational skills including demonstrable ability to plan and deliver projects to time and budget

Salary Range: £27,000 - £34,000 depending on experience.
