Account Executive - Farming and Agriculture
Location: Somerset

Our clients Farming and Agriculture team is going from strength to strength and are now looking to add an additional Account executive to the team to work alongside the team's manager to capitalise on the opportunities they are being presented with.

The role will be focused on taking leads and enquiries from new, existing and old clients and maximising returns whilst continuing to improve their brand by being a market expert.

Day to day:

Proactively managing and developing client relationships to ensure clients are converted.
Managing a pipeline of prospects
Developing a network of introducers
Actively networking within the Farming and Agricultural sector to increase lead volumes
Management of existing clients, including renewal meetings, re-broking where required (Account Handlers on hand to deal with most cases), cross selling additional covers to clients and overseeing placement of risks into appropriate markets.
Attend trade fairs and shows as required (will include some weekends)

About you:

Ideally you'll already be well versed in the Agricultural markets and be capable of picking the reigns straight up and cracking on with things, alternatively our client are prepared to consider insurance professionals who are Commercial Insurance focused who have an interest in the Agricultural market
Your skill set should include high level communication, negotiation, presentation, client and stakeholder management coupled with the ability to influence people at all levels.
You'll also need a full driving licence as you will be out with clients on a regular basis


Our client are flexible on the package for the right individual, with an initial benchmark of c£35,000 basic + Bonus + Package
