Are you a Sales Ledger Clerk looking to build experience in a growing company?

Reed Accountancy Oxfordshire are pleased to be working with an ambitious, growing company based near Wallingford who are looking to add a Sales Ledger Clerk to their expanding Accountancy team. With a salary of up to £23,000 per annum based on experience, this role would be ideally suited for a candidate who is keen to continue their accountancy career and progress further in a varied Sales Ledger Clerk role, with a company who themselves are growing.

Day to day duties include, but are not limited to:

- Download daily bank statements from

- Email out daily receipts and payments summary (CEO, NED and Finance)

- Post bank payments, bank receipts, reconcile prior day

- Respond to sales queries

- Monthly Cashbook reconciliations

- Weekly debtors review, ensuring all receipts and refunds are allocated correctly and all odd pennies are written off

- Produce and email out Wholesale invoices

- Chase Debtors via Credit Hound Professional

- Upload various customer invoices onto specific portals

- Quarterly product rebate

Future responsibilities for the correct candidate:

- Assistance with Cash-flow forecasting

- Key Customer Consolidated invoicing

- Reconciliation of cashless receipt and associated charges from relevant Suppliers

- Reconciliation of stock issues, recharging to specific customers

- Refunding Cashless Transactions to Customers where applicable

The ideal candidate would have a background in a sales ledger role and be looking to further their experience in a small to medium accounts team. You will have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as proficient MS Office skills.
