As the General Manager of a Barchester Care Home you will be a leading face for the delivery of person-centred care that helps set us apart.

The award-winning, 70 bedded Lakeside Manor Care Home is part of the care village consisting of Lakeside Manor itself, the well-established Lakeside Care Home, the premier Lakeside Pavilion apartments, and the famous Mermaid pub, which has been fully refurbished to create the social hub for the village.

The home is set within beautiful and extensive grounds and features secure garden areas. There is a view over the adjacent lake and the home is within easy reach of Jersey's many facilities and attractions. Lakeside Manor offers assisted living in eight two-bedroom apartments, supporting people in need of some help but who want to remain as independent as possible in their own flats. It also offers 24-hour nursing care to people who require it, care for people living with dementia and care for people with mental health issues over three separate and dedicated floors. Respite and day care are also available in all units.

ABOUT YOU
To join us as a General Manager, you'll need to be an experienced nurse (RGN/RMN) and Registered Manager (RM), with a passion for elderly care. This role calls for excellent leadership, organisational and management skills to build a strong foundation for our care home. We're looking for care home management, marketing and occupancy experience, as well as a strong understanding of safeguarding, CQC and compliance guidelines. You should have the confidence to communicate with colleagues at all levels and create strong links within the local community. In short, your proven track record of marketing and business skills within the private care sector, running a commercially successful, Good or Outstanding rated care home will be complemented by your blend of compassion and resilience.
