CRM Consultant

Up to £70,000 DOE


As a CRM Technical Consultant, you will be working with best practices not just from Dynamics 365 but the wider industry. You will design, develop & deliver great technical solutions closely matching real business processes.
The quality of our Consultants is key to everything we do, so you will be involved in helping us create top quality solutions to exceed customer expectations.

  • Configure Dynamics CRM - advising on out of the box functionality/capabilities
  • Perform data migration using SCRIBE and SSIS
  • Consult with customers, mainly remote and some face to face, to understand what customers really need, not just what they want
  • C# development of plugins and workflow activities, as well as adopting general coding best practises (GIT flows and architecture).
  • Work on cross-system projects, particularly integrated CRM and web projects. Everyone at the company works in a cross-functional scrum team
  • Build POCs/prototypes/mock-ups for customers - The company advocate working software over excessive documentation, so love to start projects/new features this way
  • Regular demo and training customers on the solutions built
  • Work as a team, peer reviewing all changes and using our industry leading CI/CD processes to own a solution all the way through to production usage. You'll deliver solutions to real users, not code to a test team!
  • Dependant on seniority now/in future, there is also scope for:
  • Technical thought leadership, helping drive our technical innovation objectives
  • Mentoring junior consultants on industry domain knowledge, consultancy 'soft skills', technical architecture, etc.
  • Taking a leadership role, particularly as a scrum master.
  • Involvement in pre-sales, helping prospects understand the art of the possible and building tailored demos

Core Skills / Technologies which you'll be using day to day:
  • Dynamics 365 (CRM) and Dynamics CRM 2015/2016
  • C# for plug-in/micro-services development, NUnit, Moq, etc.
  • JavaScript
  • Azure cloud tech - e.g. Functions, App Services, Service Bus
  • Building/consuming RESTful APIs
  • SQL Server and data modelling, understanding of normal forms
  • SSRS
  • SSIS
  • CI/CD through VSTS
  • Agile techniques/culture (we're using SCRUM)
