Are you looking for a long term or Permenant SEND Teaching Assistant post at a local school in the Birmingham area?

Do you have a passion for really making a difference and thrive from supporting SEND pupils with their development, confidence and social integration?

Empowering Learning are working in partnership with schools in the Birmingham area. The school is looking for a Teaching Assistant who can support pupil's with complex needs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, Challenging Behaviour. Some schools may also have visually impaired children too.

An experienced Teaching Assistant will need to build rapport and trusting relationship with the pupil and help with the pupil integrating into the classroom. Also, you will be working with the Teacher and SENDCo to implemented tailored work to help with their learning and development

In order to be considered for this role you need to:
  • Has a Level 2 / 3 CACHE or NQT qualification
  • Have eligibility to work in the UK or be a UK resident.
  • Have previous experience of working with SEND children.
  • Previous Teaching Assistant experience within the last 12 months
